  1. Create a mobile web version

    I use NetSnips to capture portions of web pages and easily access them or watch them update in real time. However, the UI for instacalc is not easy on iPhone. Therefore I suggest you make a mobile web version of instacalc or a bookmarklet.

  9. Add remote variables

    Allow me to embed a HTTP uri.
    Treat it as any normal variable.
    Expect it to return something you understand.
    If it doesn't make sense, just set it to undefined.

    This would allow for dynamic calculators! Where I could include current information based on a database. Like my current rates, or whatever.

    Thanks for the feedback — I’d like to do a pro version to help support development of more powerful features. Some things, like stock market prices, real-time editing, removing branding, etc. could definitely fall under this.

  17. Add stock symbols

    It would be nice to enter a stock symbol and have it treated as a variable containing the price of the stock. The stock price could update whenever the equation text box losses focus. Stock symbols could be denoted using a leading symbol like (e.g., "$aapl" or "#aapl").
