However, having truly locked cells would be a good idea, thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment Wow, I'm behind on this! I need to wrap up the current webpage into a cross-platform app with PhoneGap or similar. A one-liner might be nice.
I'm not sure if you're a developer but I'd be happy to send the webpage code if you want to package it up into an app.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the feedback. Basically, someone who doesn't know what "e" is would be confused why e = 5 creates an error (what's wrong with that?).
But someone who does know what e is wouldn't try to assign a variable to it. (Also, it may be that they don't need e as 2.71828... if they did, they wouldn't assign to it).
Having a warning is a good idea though.

If you add a dollar sign ($) anywhere it will auto-round to two decimal places (so $sales = 13.3434 * 342.423 will be rounded to 2 decimal places). There isn't a way to round to other places, but I was thinking of something like having "###" in a cell to indicate you want 3 decimal places.

Do you have a link to the calc you were using? I can see if there was an earlier version available. Again, sorry about that!

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh, thanks. That helps -- I'd like to have Excel-style options for rounding (#.# would be to 1 decimal point, #.## would be to 2 decimal points, etc.)

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks John, great suggestion. I'd probably need to make it a pro feature for real-time updates (I'd have to pay for a data feed) but maybe daily quotes could be done for free. I'll have to think about it more, but thanks for the suggestion!

I was thinking of have them auto-expand as you typed so more could fit.

3 + 4 // notes here
but maybe something more formal would be good.
