provide means for user to create custom conversion factor
I would like to convert between mil (defined as 1/1000 of an inch), inches, and mm (perhaps other lengths also). Perhaps locally to the one instance of Instacalc, let user define a name for his unit as a multiple of a built in unit name. Similar to user defined constants. I used this in the Ti 85 calculator I bought in '92 and still use today.

Save calculation to disk for the Mac version and multiple windows/calculators
I can't believe that I can't save a calculator.

copy values onto clipboard without "," separators for thousands
If result is shown as 1,000,000, can you copy it onto the clipboard (via a copy button?) as 1000000. That would make it much easier to paste results into other applications.

Rounding
Round seems to round only to whole numbers. I would like to be able to round to a certain number of decimal places. For example, rounding to two places for money calculations. How about:
Places(3.7823323,2) gives 3.78 or something of that nature.
Another idea would be a "setting" that specifies output format and places.

Protect built in values pi and e
Attempting to change values of e and pi should produce error or warning.
pi = 5 should produce an error rather than "5"
e = 5
2 * e gives a confusing result to someone who doesn't know what e is.1 vote -
Implement Chinese character numbers
As you already have "1 million = 1,000,000", I assume you could also implement numbers in Chinese characters, like so:
2百 = 200
3千 = 3,000
4万 = 40,000
50万 = 500,000
6百万 = 6,000,000
7千万 = 70,000,000
8億 = 800,000,000etc...
This would be most useful for Chinese and Japanese people.

Having rotate and endianess function
Rotate left, rotate right will be useful addition to bit operations and also big endian and little endian. Also the insert row functionality, should update the row references of those calculations which come below

Make the SAVE button bigger, about 150% of present size and stand more apart from other objects
Many times when trying to save a modified calculator on my iPhone another button got pressed instead.

Datetime Functions
Are you planning to add any Datetime functions such as Excel http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/date-and-time-functions-reference-HP010342402.aspx
My personal requirements would be something such as getting the current datetime and comparing it to another datetime or getting the difference between two datetimes, etc

Fix the save function
Fix the save function because i spent around 4 hours creating a calculator to instantly calculate the unknown variables when calculating work, power and such in physics, but when i went back on today my saved calculator has like 5 rows, all of my formulas and algorithms that i made are gone, kinda pissed.
