  1. Congratulations

    I am so excited that I have found this web-site. I had an idea to do something like this years ago but I don't have the web skills. You have produced something that fits nicely between a calculator and a spreadsheet. Are you planning to make it an App or make it more mobile friendly with Bootstrap?

  2. Save calculation to disk for the Mac version and multiple windows/calculators

    I can't believe that I can't save a calculator.
    Also having more than one calculator window would be useful

  4. Different answer formats...

    Specify decimal tolerance for answers, and the option to display the answers in exponent notation (engineering, scientific etc.)

    ... like the programming language Frink (http://futureboy.us/frinkdocs/) does.

    Would be nice to create your own functions and to define constants that could be used from any calculator.

  12. rows start out empty

    Suggestion: allow a persistent setting that lets you decide if you want all the rows to start out empty

    I strongly prefer having rows all be empty, as opposed to the default where it provides helpful examples. It is tiresome to clear the rows everytime if you use instacalc for small frequent computations, closing the browser tab each time.

  13. Add remote variables

    Allow me to embed a HTTP uri.
    Treat it as any normal variable.
    Expect it to return something you understand.
    If it doesn't make sense, just set it to undefined.

    This would allow for dynamic calculators! Where I could include current information based on a database. Like my current rates, or whatever.

    Thanks for the feedback — I’d like to do a pro version to help support development of more powerful features. Some things, like stock market prices, real-time editing, removing branding, etc. could definitely fall under this.

  17. convert geographical units e.g. 44° 15'19.199" become ...

    Make small virtual keyboard to insert ° and other "strange" symbols. When they are used, try to guess what result the user want to get...
